Simply Pilates opened in 2003 and was the first fully equipped, dedicated Pilates studio to open in Bristol.

Employing only Pilates Foundation instructors, we offer a choice of 6 fully qualified instructors (mat and equipment) who also bring a wealth of other qualifications and experience to their Pilates practise.

Challenging enough for top sportsmen yet gentle enough to aid patients recovering from injuries or accidents, Pilates is a mind-body exercise discipline suitable for all ages, body types, limitations and injuries.

All private and small group classes take place in a purpose-designed, dedicated studio in the heart of Clifton.

Group mat classes (up to 10 clients) are located at Redland Girls School on Redland Court Road.

With over 550 exercises, the Pilates method offers ultimate programming for a wide range of participants from ageing adults to elite athletes. Its functionality makes it adaptable to people with widely different daily routines.

Working closely with physiotherapists, osteopaths, chiropractors and other medical professionals, Pilates experts have developed complementary programmes to aid clients to regain flexibility, range of motion and strength after injury.

Pilates is also an excellent form of exercise during and after pregnancy as deep abdominal and lower back muscle strength is prioritised, reducing discomfort and tiredness.
